Completely mesmerized with the design work of multi-talented artist, Andy Gilmore.
The Montana Meth Project is the largest advertiser in Montana, reaching 70-90% of teens three times a week. This shock and awe level advertising which graphically portrays the severe impacts of Meth use through television, radio, billboards, and Internet ads—has gained nationwide attention for its uncompromising approach. The campaign’s core message, “Not Even Once,” speaks directly to the highly addictive nature of Meth.
What kind of impact has the advertising campaign made in Montana? As of April 2008, teen Meth use has declined 45%, adult Meth use has declined 72% and a 62% decrease in meth related crime.
A classic masterpiece and one of my favorite songs of all time.
Back by popular demand, more of the insane advertising from years past. Let us not forget the 1st and the 2nd series of these vintage ads here on Katize.

Absolutely loving the illustration stylings of the talented Russian artist Merdanchik.
Available very soon will be the limited edition T-shirts I designed for Deeper Shades of House, my husband Lars Behrenroth’s radio show and website. Deeper Shades of House (DSOH) is entering its 5th year on XM satellite radio and is now syndicated on numerous other FM and online stations globally. It’s very fulfilling to know that so many people worldwide have become devoted fans of the show and tune in weekly or download the DSOH podcast. Lars has put a lot of hard work and creative energy into his show and music, and has always remained humble and appreciative to his fans.
These premiere DSOH t-shirts will be limited edition as we have printed a very limited number of them. And, because they are printed with a unique technique called discharge printing. It’s not really a print, but more a process where the color of the shirt is extracted to create the design, similar to bleaching.
I’ll post another update here as soon as they are available for purchase, which should be as early as next week.
