Color Wars 2008 held a competition for people to submit a photo of themselves when they were young and another photo trying to recreate that moment as they are now. They have a gallery of all the submissions and some of them are just awesome.

What an absolutely cool project/idea. The fourth loli/flower dress girl is absolutely the best… in a weird way it almost looks like she is still a child… as we should all be! ;)

I don’t like #4 quite as much because the expression in her face is totally different. The shape is the same, but the attitude is different. I think the others do a better job of capturing the original expression.

I didn’t try to “recreate a moment”, but I posted in a similar vein about two years ago. Wish I’d have known about this one.

A link exchange, I think, would work well for us; if you have any thoughts on that I have an email link in my profile.

There’s a new project I’m working on, perhaps you can help me with. What I See Out My Window; looking at your theme this could be a good fit to work on a bit together.

    Have a great week.

I stumble all the time, and constantly come across wonderful posts…. but I rarely feel compelled to comment. THIS is awesome, what a wonderful, nostalgic idea. Beautiful.
