well, this video was shown on national tv a few years ago. Although some people say that the girl hid the crystals in her eyes and then got it out on request. By the way… an excellent site. your “Stumbled” :)
    Thanks

Please folks, how about a little research before perpetuating this nonsense: http://www.museumofhoaxes.com/hoax/weblog/permalink/girl_cries_crystal_tears/

Although, I’m not saying that it could not possibly be fake, I’m not convinced just yet as there is not enough evidence for it to be fake. For a reporter to do an experiment on his own eyes, absolutely does not disprove the Lebanese girl’s case. Plus, he never met with the girl or the family. What would this family gain from reporting this about their daughter anyways?

Some people are born with larger anterior tear ducts, which can, therefor, hold more (including objects.) There is no scientific way (nor any commonplace or ‘faith-based’ belief) which would account for this. As humans, we LOVE to be amazed. But, truth is truth and crystals aren’t created by the human body.

No, your wikipedia link is not good enough.

        http://www.djo.harvard.edu/site.php?url=/physicians/kr/447&page=KR_AN

They’re talking about crystals at a cellular level, not quarter-inch sized ones. Plus hers are quartz, not cystine.

Also, you say there is not enough evidence to be fake?

Incredible *claims* require incredible evidence, yes? Occam’s Razor? They need to provide evidence that it could NOT be done the way suggested above.

Finally you can’t think what that family would get from faking? Really? Miracles from Allah get you paid to be shown on TV. I’m sure the faithful would be clamoring to buy just one of those blessed crystals too.
